Clovis is a crappy place. The guy must have realized that he actually lived there.

Many businesses (especially retail) only accept applications through the Internet, so many jobless people are advised to visit libraries to apply for jobs.

***Lots of bums, hoodrats, and methheads***

Never had a problem back in the days when there were VAGRANCY LAWS. Then the libs got those laws suspended and the bums flooded the libraries and free museums. So the museums started charging a nominal fee and it kept the bums out.

I think there weather is pretty crappy but the town and people were surprisingly pleasant it seemed to me when I was there for a few days five years back.

For a middle of no where military base adjacent town, it was better than 3/4 ths of them that I have seen and I’ve seen a few.

Libaries and Librarians are tough in Clovis. Bring your book back a day late and they will kill you. /sarc

But what the hell happened there?
