“The folks had a 74 LTD”
My brother had a 73 LTD. During the Minneapolis Blizzard of 1991-92 my brother let his LTD just sit in the yard. It got down to -20 for days and days. On Valentines Day, my brother shoveled 2 feet of snow off the car, got in, and she started up like nothing. Beautiful car.

The Lincoln Trimmed Down was a good solid design for the most part.

Enough of them were driven in 70s Quinn Martin shows like Barnaby Jones, Cannon, and Streets Of SF.

That 74 had a 400 V8 and it could hit 100 that didn’t bother it all. The fuel gauge would drop like a stone.
