Climate Alarmists Go Hysterical as Their Theory Melts Down
The New American ^ | 24 August 2017 | William F. Jasper

Posted on 08/24/2017 12:00:44 PM PDT by detective

The year 2016 turned out to be disastrous for the global-warming Doomsday Lobby. This year is shaping up as one that will deliver an even bigger setback — politically, scientifically, economically, and socially — to the forces of climate alarmism. The big political blow last year came, of course, with the election of Donald Trump. His announcement earlier this year of his decision to pull the United States out of the UN’s Paris climate accord sent climate activists across the globe into an apoplectic fury that continues unabated. President Trump’s move on the Paris deal represents not only a tectonic shift from the position of the Obama administration, but the first major political reversal on this issue by an American administration — Republican or Democrat — in the past two-and-a-half decades.

"“We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of 250 degrees, and raining sulphuric acid,” Hawking absurdly claimed in a BBC interview." --- Funniest statement ever-----Hawking must be losing it,and I'm NOT being sarcastic. .

The US is well ahead of its projections for meeting the requirements of the COP21 agreement in Paris in 2015.

Because of the republicans. The GOP completed a budget in 2015 which was called the Ryan Budget in which the renewable energy tax cut was extended for 5 year.

Renewables are booming in the US and about 70% of the renewables are being produced in states that Trump carried.

If you are in Texas and buy an electric car, you get a $15,000 subsidy from the feds and a $5,000 subsidy from the Texas govt.

What they are saying about the new Tesla 3 is that it runs like a Porsche and costs like a Prius.

I didn’t find any factual errors, though there may be one or two lurking.

But I did notice a characteristic snarky tone. I can deal with it.

Many cannot.

Just know they have an agenda and always have. And sometimes they need that tin foil hat to protect them from dangerous rays.

Just like CNN. Only their agenda is much closer to yours...

Climate change is a religious matter. You can’t science a person out of their religion.

I am amazed that this big a lie can be orchestrated across so many fields of expertise.

An ex-girlfriend of mine was a research scientist in the bio-medical field. She talked about the incredible level of fraud and cheating that went on regularly, and it was her impression that this atmosphere was fueled by the need for grant money to stay alive. Science, like everything else in the world of men, is highly politicized.

Trump's got to fix those leaks.

Only a select handful knew of Trump's plan to convert Cheney's Halliburton Hurricane Machine into The Trump Halliburton Volcano Machine, capable of spewing cubic miles of sulfur and CO2 way up into the atmosphere.

“I am mystified at how people are not mad and outraged that they were completely lied to”

That would require them to admit that they had been lied to, and were so dumb they fell for it, where others did not.

Yet when was the last time a “Brother “ saved a whale? Or a “Sister “ saved a polar bear from the supposedly melting ice caps? 0bama? Only because he owed the Sierra Club, WWF etc. big time. Compared to the eco movement I’ve seen way more diversity at a NASCAR race.

There is a Hurricane that is about to hit the Texas Coast.

Algore will hold a press conference to say, "See, fake global warming DOES cause hurricanes! Also, my house electrical bill has nothing to do with it!"

Part of Scientific American article from April, 1968.

The Confirmation of Continental Drift

After years of debate many lines of evidence now favor the idea that the present continents were once assembled into two great land masses: Gondwanaland in the south, Laurasia in the north.

By Patrick M. Hurley

When I was in 2nd grade, I looked at the world map and said to my teacher, Mrs. Brady, "Look! South American fits right into Africa."

I don't remember what she said, but it looked to me way to good a fit to be a coincidence.

I subscribed to SA when I was in college and I remember chuckling when I got that issue.
