recon just measured 133 MPH surface winds

Uh oh. Was just saying this storm looks as healthy as any Category 4 I've ever seen.

For comparison, Hurricane Ike and the 1900 Galveston hurricane were Category 4 storms at landfall.

Trace Gallagher on FNC just said TX Gov Abbott wanted Houston to be on an evacuation footing, and Houston officials were not on board.
