If you show up to a rally with your face covered (as I understand it that is illegal) the assumption is you will be violent. In that case, the police have every right to use everything non-lethal in their inventory to prevent violence.
Just once I want to see that “vomit machine” and “heat machine” which was shown on some weapons show a while back. Get the whole bunch of them puking.
