Well, it probably didn’t help that Robert Lee jokingly refers to himself as ‘The General’.

Joking, of course. This entire episode of liberal lunacy is making me physically ill, and my family does not have a dog in this fight.
It really makes me mad that the statues/monuments for soldiers (of any side) are involved in this.
