Also, another takeaway is, "How could any American, any real American, how could any patriotic American not like what they heard tonight? . . He covered all the bases. . and didn't 'notify' the Taliban the number of troops, when the real Armageddon Blitzkrieg begins or other details. . Just a great serious speech with a great delivery.

Alexander the Great couldn’t conquer it 2350 years ago, Genghis Khan gave up, the Brits gave up, the Russian’s gave up. It’s not worth the effort and the Afghanis don’t want anyone there. We should cut our losses, kill as many Taliban as is possible as a punitive act, and then just abandon it.
