That’s rich. Obama and Biden arranged for everyone in their families down to grandchildren to have Secret Service protection. Morale had been really bad in the service. People think it’s a glamorous job, but it’s a lot of standing in hot stairwells for 8 hours, being insulted by protectees, and taken away from your family during holidays and often at a moment’s notice. Since most presidents are wealthy, I think they should pay for their own security for anyone that is not a spouse or dependent child. We need to go back to ending Secret Service protection 10 years after the president leaves office.
