ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (NEWSPLEX) — The National Transportation Safety Board has issued an update on the fatal helicopter crash that killed two Virginia State Police troopers on Saturday.
According to the statement released Monday afternoon, the helicopter was providing a continuous video feed of activities on the ground during the Unite the Right rally, along with several other helicopters.
The helicopter had left from the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport just before 4 p.m. and was in the downtown area until about 4:45 p.m. when it was redirected to provide support for a motorcade that was transporting Governor Terry McAuliffe.
According to a release, the helicopter was heading north-northeast at an altitude of 2,300 feet shortly before the crash.
The first call to emergency services regarding the crash was received around 4:45 p.m. when the helicopter went down about seven miles southwest of CHO.

There are sign poles, posts like this but they have holes going the length of them, the ones I have now seen, they don’t have areas where the holes stop and they don’t have a wide bottom.
My mistake here. This camera angle is looking at it from a different angle than what I viewed. Cars are in the correct order.
Thing I now see possibly a little wrong or strange here is purple minivan isn’t as directly lined up with the white car as I had thought it had been, maybe I just didn’t realize this before.

6:56 presently check out the person in the lower right hand corner. This person has a flourescent green hat on and had something like a clipboard before. Now visible on her front is something like a suspended strap with a hook on it. In her left hand is some strange object that looks like a thick black book. Looks like the suspended strap hook and not her right hand is holding up that pouch like black bag y her right hand. I don’t see her glasses now, by her right ear. She has always worn glasses before. Her face now looks a little more like a man and a little different as if she has a stunt double for this scene.
This lady has looked like the oldest of the flourescent green hat level people if they are indeed a higher level, possibly one of the more highly ranked of that ranking. Can still see the same dress there.

6:56 presently notice the red and black stripes painted on the top of the rear of the purple minivan. Looks like part of a red and black helicopter as in a Bell 407 helicopter.

Early 7:01 presently to the right of the black guy with the black hat is a guy with pink pants wearing gloves.
7:00 to 7:02 this person changes from looking like a man with clearly no hat to a lady wearing clearly a white hat, without putting a hat on, has the gloves on the whole time.

She is inserted there like that and they whoever inserted her there is I believe trying to hide part of the downed helicopter.
