Chuck Todd had a dress rehearsal for the SPLC / Antifa setup. The show this morning aims to pimp the book and legitimize the notion that speech can be violence, so violent response is morally justified.

Should The Far-Right Be Confronted With Force? | MSNBC (Aug 16 MTP Daily)
Should The Far-Right Be Confronted With Force? - NBC News

Richard Cohen, President of the Southern Poverty Law Center, and author Mark Bray discuss the Antifa movement and how they propose tackling the far right.

Newsbusters produced a critique. For those who don't watch the 7:33 video, the exchange presented below is accurate, and typical for what passes as "critical review of events and policy" by the press.

Really Chuck? MSNBC's Todd Aids in Promotion of Antifa Violence

The MSNBC host welcomed his guest with open arms, asking: "Mark Bray, you are writing this book Antifa, the Anti-Fascist Handbook. Explain this movement and its roots."

"So anti-fascism goes back to the beginning of the 20th century when leftists of all stripes fought back against Mussolini and Hitler," Dartmouth "lecturer" Mark Bray claimed. "The main perspective of Antifa is essentially that rather than simply waiting for the threat to materialize, you stop it from the beginning." He even admitted that what they did in Charlottesville was try to deny a platform.

After confirming that Bray followed the radical beliefs of Antifa, Todd's next question wasn't about the legality or morality of using violence to shut down free speech. It was concerning Antifa making the neo-Nazi's look good. "What do you say to those that are concerned that: `Hey, you're handing -- you're allowing this -- these white supremacists to claim victim hood here,'" Todd probed. "What do you say to that criticism since the President is trying to essentially create a false equivalency here?"

Democracy Now and other outlets are even more supportive.

See America Is Struggling to Sort Out Where `Violence' Begins and Ends, by Amanda Hess in the NYT; Unmasking the leftist Antifa movement: Activists seek peace through violence, by Sara Ganim and Chris Welch of CNN; and Virginia Heffernan chats with Mark Bray, a podcast on Slate.

the CNN Antifa piece has been updated 20 Aug. the Orwellian subheading “Activists seek peace through violence” has been removed and who knows what else, because I didn’t get to see the piece when it was dated 19 Aug.
I did eventually manage to copy the text of the updated version, & am hoping someone has a screenshot of the original, so I can compared the two. same url:

Editor’s Note: This story has been updated to clarify that counterprotesters say they are not to blame for violence at the Charlottesville protest. The story’s headline has also been updated.

Great stuff.

All part of the ultimate move to create a race war in the U.S. a second civil war which will provide an opportunity for goons like Soros to engage in what he does best. Taking over assets, currency manipulation and well just look at the Arab Spring.

That's what they have in mind for us.

By the way if you think it's ulterior planning mechanism is the CIA you may be right. The same as the Arab Spring done in the Mid east is planned for us.

If you draw conclusions by the events at Charlottesville things get even clearer.

There a second Dodge Charger with different plates and a slightly different model was employed to mow down protesters.

When it was done the car drove out of town. No police stopped him.

By the way the driver was described as a Mideastern looking guy and was picked up at the edge of town by....if you said; a black suburban, score $200 pass go and collect even more from CIA black budgets.

Thanks for the links. It is frightening to think that a major news network would legitimize thugs dressed in black wearing masks and armed with clubs would be portrayed as defenders of free speech and moral values. It is totally insane and very dangerous. I guess anyone who opposes Antifa is now a racist and bigot who has no right of free speech.

Todd and all the rest are despicable, but take heart; They are not helping themselves or democrats, and are in fact sealing their fate. Polls indicate as much.

INSANITY: Republicans Embrace Antifa And BLM Movements That Want To Destroy Them , By Terresa Monroe-Hamilton | Aug 17, 2017

"What the hell is wrong with these people? A number of high profile Republicans, including Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio and John McCain decried the white supremacists and their violence in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend. That’s good… however they then came out with giving the leftist groups there the moral high ground."
