After the GOPE backstabbing this past week, Trump better feel free to ignore the GOPE and veto every budget bill and increase of the debt ceiling that does not include 100% of the agenda he was elected to advance.
Sorry, that’s wishful thinking.
All POTUS can do now is tactically retreat and get ready for the midterms. No POTUS can govern without his own party.
Trump can campaign in friendly territory for the midterms that are sure to pick up a few Senate seats for the GOP. After that he can run against the entire beltway sewer for 2020.
If the GOPe wants war, they shall have it.
