I do not morn the death of my enemy, and he was my enemy. He espoused numerous ideas that are not conductive to the American way. He sided with the leftist, and used his notoriety to further their cause.
I will not morn his death, nor will I praise him.
Ah, so this kook won’t be spewing any more of his stuff.
Good.
All ya have to do is look at the stuff he said at SotBU that inspired Prince to see he was on a level with Calypso Louie.
For example, you White Folk been dumping stuff in his neighborhood in Chemtrails (well that was mostly Prince’s delivery method by the gubmint) and, of course, Colt. 45 Malt Liquor.
You might think I’m joking but I’m not. I’ve seen the video.
Dick Gregory saved my butt once ....it was back in 1969 and I was a young hippy kid walking down a street in San Francisco . Coming down the sidewalk I saw this pack , yes pack, of black kids coming . Instantly I was surrounded and they were all clicking these knives enclosed in some kind of blade cases at me . I will never forget that sound “ click click click” Gimme your wallet whitey “ one said . Um , no choice , I handed over my meager little hippy wallet . They started to go thru it . There was zero money , or anything else of any worth in it but there was this fake $$$ bill ,with Dick Gregory’s picture on it , saying ‘ Dick Gregory for President ‘. The black punks like that ! They said ‘ dis honkie’s alright !” handed me back my wallet and let me go . Standing there stunned and relieved I watched as the pack surrounded the next hippy kid coming down the street and shook him down as they’d shaken me down . Gee, I hope he had a Dick Gregory dollar bill too .... That the second time I was robbed by blacks on the streets of San Francisco in as many months . The first time they got me for 10 bucks , which was every thing I had to my name at the time . Gotta luv um !
As a kid I remember Gregory when he was stand up comic. He was on a lot of shows back in the 1960’s that I watched.
He was pretty funny. But after he got involved in his political activism and such he became a lot less funny.
But it was the 1960’s, never a dull moment.
Who is he? I never watched him.
