I always wondered where people like myself would stand with cops when things get really nasty(ier) in this country, and I got my answer at San Jose and Berkley. I’ve never been a cop hater, but there’s no question in my mind anymore that police in this country will know what side their bread’s buttered on. They’ll turn on us. I’m coming to believe that the military will as well...given the fact that so few of them probably ever heard of the Kronstadt sailors.
Have always believed cops and military will stand against anyone trying to stop the deep state. The cops are turning on Trump for saying “Bump their heads”.
It’s one of those real paradoxes.
Conservatives are the most loyal defenders of law enforcement. Yet when we get attacked by violent leftists who are dedicated to destroying law enforcement as part of their political philosophy, the police stand down and let us get pummeled. Then call us haters for having had to audacity to want to speak about things like...supporting law enforcement.
It’s a bit like with conservatives and Israel. US conservatives have been Israel’s strongest and most reliable ally for decades. Usually we’re the only group anywhere in the whole world they can count on to have their backs. Yet when the elections roll around every other year, 80% of Jews vote against us.
Really makes you sit down and wonder from time to time. WTF? Is this world totally insane? Or am I?
Most Americans don’t even know their own history and have no idea about the Kronstadt sailors of the Russian Revolution.
The most effective shock troops of the revolution they were used by Lenin and Co. to defeat and terrorize the opponents of the Bolsheviks. But when the fighting was over and the sailors realized that the Bolshies were full of hot air, they revolted. They should have waited until the ice melted around their island, but doubtless Red agents provoked an early uprising and the sailors were defeated and the survivors executed.

With the October Revolution nearly every officer and man in the Okhrana, the Tsar’s secret police, joined the Communists. I happen to believe the same thing would happen in the FBI and the New York PD if the hard Left took over the USA.
