Reminds me of when Dennis Praeger had on his old radio show someone claiming to be a “Native American activist” who joined the chorus trying to change team names, Redskins, Chiefs, Braves, FSU Seminoles, etc. He asked Mr. Paeger who’s an ordained rabbi how he would like it if there were a team called the Texas Jewboys? Praeger laughed out loud and said he would be overjoyed because FINALLY after 5000 years someone would be cheering for us. I LMAO and Damn near drove off the road when I heard that. :)
I try to listen daily but I never heard that story. Awesome. I don’t know if Prager is an ordained rabbi, he has the knowledge, and he delivers spectacular high holida services, but I didn’t think he was a rabbi.
