Ever participate in one of those Red Cross blood drives at your church, your senior center or at your place of employment? You know, the ones advertised that there is a shortage of blood in your area and they need your blood donation?

Well guess what, they don't really need your blood, they need the money they sell your blood for.....

How much does the Red Cross sell a pint of blood for? The typical pint of red blood cell product now costs $130 to $150. Fredrick does not expect the price increase to affect hospitals' ability to provide blood to patients this summer, but she said, "there are still critical blood shortages in this country."

I used to have to conduct my company's annual blood drive back in the 1980's but I stopped giving once I learned of their scam..........

Guys, it’s not just the Red Cross.

That the SA and Cleveland Clinic have done this as well is appalling.
