Have Varney and Gingrich also fallen into the mass hysteria bubble?
I notice both of them are wavering this morning.
How true.
“The most visible Mass Hysteria of the moment involves the idea that the United States intentionally elected a racist President. If that statement just triggered you, it might mean you are in the Mass Hysteria bubble.”
Ha! He’s trolling them.:)
The box above asks us to “keep FR free of ads”, but honestly there are far too many hyperlinks posted repeatedly here that defy that rule. FR has made a few blogs big time money and few people seem to realize it. I am not being snotty with you about it, just asking that you think about it before you link. There was NOTHING original in your link from American Thinker. The “article” was nothing more than a drive-by posting here on FR about the original.
Adams is always interesting and worth reading. Just go straight to his blog and read what he wrote. The discussion comments are often interesting as well. It is not your fault, but there are far too many “articles” here on FR that are nothing more than poorly written rehash pieces of the original with exciting headlines chock full of crap and spam.
American Thinker is off my read list now. My Adblock and spam program goes nuts every time I open it.
There is an interesting book on the subject titled: “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds” by Charles Mackay, LL. D.
It was written in 1841 but it is as pertinent today as it was then. The book discusses such delusions as the Tulip Bulb Crisis and the introduction of stock bubbles and paper currency. (I think we are in a currency bubble that is just expanding more slowly than the one described in pre-revolutionary France.)
Scott Adams is right on target here!
Meanwhile Barcelona is ground zero for a full-blown hostile invasion:
