Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tennessee, announced Thursday that he plans to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump.
Cohen cited potential obstruction of justice and violations of the Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause as the reasons for impeachment while also addressing his own strong moral opposition to the president's words and actions relating to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

“Our guys” need to defend the President the people elected... or they’re not gonna be ‘our guys’ after then next few elections.
If they succeed in removing Trump, I’m never voting again, because it would be quite clear that voting doesn’t mean shit in this country.
Have to get rid of the name, “Democratic Party,” since it promoted slavery.

So let’s get this straight threatening impeachment every other week, Russia Russia Russia, he’s a racist and supports KKK (they’ve been saying that since the campaign nothing new there), tearing down monuments, and supporting violence against people practicing free speech. Jew, Homo, rich off gov’t and never met a steal your money...taxes or your gun rights law he’s never voted voted for. Makes speeches to an empty house at midnight, never sponsored any meaningful legislation in the years he’s been in DC, just makes a fool out of himself.

Spoke to lots of people here on LI... generally liberal. Most see the President as a victim... this will reinforce such.
Think about it. He condemns ALL hate in Virginia... and said there were good people in the crossfire... and is attacked for doing so... most have no issue with his statements because they believe such as well... Yet he is attacked for it... simply irrational accept to those looking to politically gain from it.

There's no country run by self appointed 'elites' that hasn't devolved into a hellhole. Coups don't work. The justification for this coup is that they are bravely standing up to about 4,000 people in the country stupid enough to be 'nazis or KKK' members - when those groups are TOTALLY POWERLESS IN OUR TIME - IS NUTS.
