Compared to his running the Spy Ring,...this is pretty small stuff. Exactly. The Awan story had gotten out and was a thorn in the Dems' side, so this action wraps it all up nice and neatly into a tiny little box which they can then tuck away to be forever forgotten.
He'll be given a deal to cop a plea, do a little easy time then walk away rich... and the whole mess will then be disposed of neatly.
