Thank God I have backup non-refrigerated food, too.
A couple of my friends asked me just about 3 nights ago, what ya gonna do with all that.
“Eat it”, oddly enough, I told them.
It just gets rotated and replaced. And most of it is built, by far, by shopping every great sale there is.
Example (doggy backup supply): $8.49 bag of dog food - $2 a bag when you buy it right with supplier coupon and sale.
I’m jealous of these coupon folks, though.
Before I make any online purchase, I always check with sites like RetailMeNot.com, which will tell me if there are any promo codes or coupons associated with a prospective purchase. I just scored 31% off an upcoming whale watching cruise with Groupon. I also get on rewards lists for stores I frequent, so I get daily emails of what's on sale. Finally, definitely use FatWallet.com when you want to make a purchase of something more pricey than groceries and see if there are any great bargains around.
