Impeachment does not depend on what the Law defines as crimes or misdemeanors. The phrase I the Constitution High Crimes and Misdemeanors is not defined and the Congress can define it any way the congress chooses.
Are you saying that the founders put into the Constitution the ability for the opposition party to remove a sitting President just on policy differences? I am not sure I can buy that although you are more the likely correct from a practical matter. I DO believe once the RAT party can get enough GOP Never Trumpers to sign on there will be IMPEACHMENT and he will be removed.

Yes, they did. And that is what is afoot. I don't think, though, that Trump will be impeached. He is savvier than anybody in Congress. If the DoJ gets indictments against the Clintons and Podesta and a lot of t Al I think the republicans will be flummoxed. They won't line up with the Democrats who will be suddenly ="wildly hysterical.
