The news commentators went ballistic when Trump asked about taking down Washington and Jefferson statues but I knew it was just a matter of time before the left demanded exactly that.
I believe a reporter made the “mistake” of telling Trump Jefferson was ok, when Trump asked at the news conference.
I said the same thing and it has happened much sooner than I thought it would.
There are even people on the far left who attack Abraham Lincoln.
When Trump said that, I immediately thought he was trying to bait the Left and the media idiots into overreaching and of course they went for it hook, line, and sinker. While some might look the other way as certain Confederate heroes are erased, once the Left reveals the truth that they really just want to eliminate all "white" American history I don't think they will encounter the same level of acquiescence.
The Left is getting overconfident and turning the temperature of the water up too quickly, and I think that's making the frog just a bit jumpy.
