Missouri Democrat lawmker apologizes, deletes post saying, ‘I hope Trump is assassinated’

A Democratic Missouri state senator has apologized for a now-deleted Facebook post wishing for the assassination of President Trump. “I hope Trump is assassinated!” state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal wrote Thursday morning in response to another commenter, Chistopher Gagne, who said his cousin is serving on Mr. Trump’s Trump’s Secret Service detail, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
