This is not a bad thing. I thought by 2020 Trump would start his own party anyway. This only helps it along. Trump, and EVERY outsider (Kid Rock, Kelli Ward, Roy Moore, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Omar Navarro, Danny Tarkanian) can now run “against Washington” and against the fuddy-duddy GOP.
What does that Reality Show of a party even stand for? What do Roy Moore and Kid Rock possibly have in common legislatively?
That’s a fantastic party to “make liberal heads explode.” But the entire purpose of a party is - supposedly - to enact legislation.
Granted, the Republicans can’t do that now, but I don’t see how getting ten “outsiders” with wildly different philosophies fixes that underlying problem.
We need to use the trend to elect Washington outsiders and support those who support our President. And change the face of the GOP. One by one get rid of the uniparty traitors. People, don’t abandon the party, reshape the party.
