Good or bad the last thing you want to do is erase history. How the heck can people learn from past mistakes if you make them disappear?
Democrats WERE the KKK when the KKK was real and had power and hurt people. Democrats were the White Citizens Council when the ‘Council’ had power in the South and damaged lives.
George Wallace who stood in the schoolhouse door to stop a black child from entering the School was a democrat.

And Hollings who brought back the Confederate Battle Flag to South Carolina in the 60’s as a way to ‘give the finger’ to ‘uppity negros’...
Yeah, I can see why democrats want to destroy that history. They were the slave owners and later the Jim Crow bullies...
