I think more people would watch if the total investment of time per game was 2 hours tops; now a game routinely lasts more than three (or even three and a half) hours.

If they decreased the playing time that might actually help parity for teams that can't afford to buy a deeper bench.. I kind of lost interest in the NFL. I am not sure that would get me to watch. I'll DVR a game from time to time, but never watch.

I rarely watch anyway; I can’t stand commercials in any shows, and NFL games are massive commercials with small breaks for play. My point was that they’d have to cut a lot of the commercials to get down to 2 hours. If you watch an English Premier League soccer match, you know when you sit down that you’ll be done in 2 hours.

I would watch the Giants in a playoff game if I have nothing else to do, and I’d definitely watch the Giants in a Super Bowl.
