The great irony is that the Left perpetuates slavery in the welfare ghettos it has created, in the inner-city schools it has perpetuated, and in the identity politics it practices. Welcome to the modern plantation.
Speaking of inner city schools, in the days when slavery was in its heyday, slaves were not even allowed to learn to read or write.
It seems that they are not being overly encouraged to learn how to read or write today either in many of the poor quality inner-city schools that prevail in many of the welfare ghettos. And if by something close to a miracle, they do manage to learn, just about everything they do read is marinated in the cultural Marxist political ideology twaddle of the radical Left - including the historical revisionism being peddled today not only in the schools, but also in the so-called "news" media which, in most cases, has become little more than a propaganda machine for the Left.
