So the plaque is to be removed and it is there because Lee personally planted the tree. Unless they uproot it or chop it down it is still substantially his tree.
oops mea culpa....the tree died long ago and has been replaced at least twice.....sorry I didn’t read the whole piece....This story now seems like a nothing burger.
