(CNN)Texas A&M has canceled a white nationalist protest planned in September, citing safety concerns.
White nationalists, neo-Nazis and other extremist groups had planned to hold a "white lives matter" rally at Texas A&M on September 11. The school canceled the rally Monday evening "because of concerns about the safety of its students, faculty, staff, and the public." Richard Spencer, the white supremacist who helped found the so-called alt-right movement, was set to speak at the event, according to the Battalion, Texas A&M's student newspaper.

“This group should be given no quarter. Not welcome anywhere”.
Yeah, screw free speech and the right to assemble.
We won’t be for long. And clearly we have no friends in any part of the government or law enforcement we get attacked violently and the police back down and watch, hell they even help the other side.
In principle.
In practice we might as well try to feed hamburger to rabbits.
Go get someone with far better reading comprehension skills, to read my post and explain it to you.
Let’s say if someone welcomes their message it won’t include us.
Oh, and these fags are thespian, homo ,plants....
This whole thing is a setup.
All this spewage from you makes you into a talker-downer. You are getting tiring.
Why not form a white nationalist student organization and if the media requests, provide the media with the names of the students that formed the white nationalist student organization?
I won’t be party to that; don’t believe in it.
A REDNECK boosting org, where redneck is a physically color blind concept, would be another story to me.
I didn't "talk down" anything except an insane idea of a stupid troll.
You just proved that it doesn't matter what I post, you'll condemn me for it out of hand.
Soooooooooooooooooo...YOU believe that at an ALL BLACK COLLEGE , some "group" would ask an anti-balck group to speak, do ya? WHY?
I’m way down south at my summer home/camp and have been doing some fishing, crabbing, and a little shrimping.
We are right on a fresh water canal and within 15 minutes I can be fishing in fresh water, brackish water or salt water. That’s not really the point.
When I was a kid, not all that long ago there were different areas for white, Vietnamese and black shrimpers/fisherman. Not official, but understood. Now, anybody can go anywhere.
We are all coon a$$es at heart and we are all colorblind.
That’s the sort of philosophy I’d love to find a base to form a voice.
Roughly speaking it’s redneck supremacy where anybody can join that bandwagon.
Whether it is Richard Spencer or Malik Zulu Shabazz or open-borders extremist Marco Rubio, they all have their first amendment right to speak and to have their audience peaceably assemble to hear them.
But it is a big mistake to “Unite the Right” with opportunists like Spencer or with the KKK or with people who wave the Nazi flag.
We should not allow these elements to become the face of those who want reduced immigration, to protect the native-born American working class and middle class and to end the one-sided globalist loot-the-USA trade deals.

Well said. And it's highly suspicious that any FR members would want to be associated with the likes of racist Richard Spencer or his ilk.
People can oppose the removal of a statue without having to be connected with divisive "white nationalism"—or things even worse than that.
Anyone who looks at the "Unite the Right" promotional posters—and its list of speakers—can clearly see the pro-Supremacist and pro-Nazi sentiments and aesthetics.
FR, President Trump, and conservatism in general bear no resemblance to such Evil, and should have no desire to be associated with such extremism. Indeed, those extremists are trying to attach themselves to legitimate conservatism—in an attempt to normalize their despicable extremism. True Patriots should be repudiating these haters as much as anyone else—moreso.
If race-obsessed identity politics is wrong for Blacks and Hispanics, it's similarly wrong for Whites. That should be abundantly clear...
Well, they have a month to find another venue.
REPENT and Stop Killing Babies!!
“Well, they have a month to find another venue.”
There another A&M that is just 50 miles down Highway 6 ant it’s called Prairie View A&M and it has around 9000 students who would open their campus to the white nationalists. For that matter, the white nationalists could head over to Texas Southern University in Houston to have their rally.
There is plenty of Free Speech opportunity for the white nationalists on either of those historically black colleges.
I hope you’re right. There are a lot of people out there still drinking the media Kool-Aide, who think what happened in Charlottesville has no analogues on the Left, that the Lefty groups’ actions are all peachy keen.
