Far-left agitators are calling for an escalation in tactics following this weekend’s violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville. Many of the same groups that have organized violent demonstrations in Berkeley, California and elsewhere are now calling for an aggressive response to the violence in Charlottesville. Far-left “anti-fascist” (or antifa) figures are advising agitators to do the job that police won’t: shutting down “fascists” and prevent them from organizing. Radical left-wingers have for months justified violence as a way to fight back against “fascism” and “racism” — terms that they have applied not just to white nationalist fringe groups but to prominent figures on the right as well.

Trump should do what Obama was supposedly famous for doing, a pivot — and that pivot should be to call out left-wing violence. I don’t need to say what groups are involved in that. The President or at least some highly placed member of the administration needs to tackle this issue very soon, before this becomes essentially a moment of surrender to the Big Lie that is pushed non-stop by the media and most mainstream politicians (all blame lies with white nationalists, no blame with counter-protesters).
I don’t support the white nationalists and we would be better off without their senseless activity. Hitler is dead and buried. But the problem is, Lenin is not dead and buried, he just had a bit of a stumble.
I would think it would be difficult to hold a tea party rally now without violence.

The response of “conservatives” to this ambush of a peaceful assembly, with a permit from a Federal judge in hand, with local and state police attacking attendees without justification, will lead to much more violence.
Make no mistake - the antifa argument - that conservative or right-wing speech CONSTITUTES violence, and therefore voids first amendment protection and constitutes a defense to assault and mayhem as “self-defense” is an argument without limit, and if you all allow it to work when the victims are too far right for your taste, it is an argument that will be knocking on YOUR front door before you know it.
These Lefties have to feed the addiction of hate. When your minions are godless, something has to fill the vacuum. Sad.

This could be the beginning of the big drive to try and force President Trump from office.
