It is not a given that Jesus was Jewish. Seek out uncensored debates on the issue.
What is given is many powerful groups want to own the Story of Jesus, such as, the Pope, Jewish groups, Christian denoninations et al. Because it is the greatest story.
Rage all you want, but nobody owns it. What you are feeling right now is proper grief. Everyone wants to take false credit for Jesus to inject their own bias.
You aren’t even trying
Luke 2
Jesus Presented in the Temple
22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 23 (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord), 24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: a pair of doves or two young pigeons.

2. I don’t really give a damn about “owning” the story of Jesus, and I don’t think that it is particularly great, either.
The ONLY reason I mentioned Jesus is the simple fact that you mentioned “Christian-Judeo values,” rather than the accepted “Judeo-Christian values” - and made a big deal about it. All that I meeant - in my first post and this one, is that without the Jewish foundation, there would have been no Christian ANYTHING, period. No 5 Books of Moses, no prophets and no Psalms...then no Jesus and no Christianity. To contend otherwise would only demonstrate your theological ignorance.
