I thought that video was a real game changer but now I’ve sort of swung back the other way after seeing the video that HollyB posted in #74.
He seems to be accelerating before that guy hit his car. So then the question is whether something had happened that caused him to accelerate initially. These antifa types are thugs and primed for violence. I could easily imagine them having attacked or threatened him but I haven’t seen a video yet that proves that.
He sees a guy to his left with a baseball bat waiting for him. Maybe he thinks there are more waiting for him. He doesn’t want to run the gauntlet. He accelerates to avoid being hit. He’s scared s**tless. He runs into the crowd. He’s still scared s**tless. He backs up and gets the hell out of there. (a possible scenario)

3 Possibilities: 1) Road rage, very upset about the violent antifa attacks he’d been taking and he’s finding it impossible to get home with people blocking the streets so loses it and plows through people trying to leave. People do stupid evil stuff when upset especially in their 20s. 2) He was scared and trying to go home while being attacked in car and didn’t really see what was in front him until he crash. 3) he decided to try run over some Antifa on his way home as revenge (terrorism).
Option 3 is pretty unlikely given how much love he had for his car. People don’t use prized possessions in manner that’s going to destroy them. Option 1 and 2 are both pretty likely but we won’t really know until we hear what he told the cops.
