What is "the case [you] have been presenting"?
That the driver panicked?
That he was acting in self-defense?
To my eye, the person proceeded recklessly down the street at a speed which was excessive, given the number of pedestrians and their positions in and around the street.
It looks like a deliberate attack to me.
This is why we have judges and juries: to determine the facts and dispassionately render Justice...
