CHARLOTTESVILLE A man accused of plowing a car into a crowd of protesters here killing one person and leaving 19 injured has long sympathized with Nazi views and had stood with a group of white supremacists hours before Saturdays bloody crash.
The accused driver, James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Ohio, had espoused extremist ideals at least since high school, according to Derek Weimer, a history teacher.
Weimer said that he taught Fields during his junior and senior years at Randall K. Cooper High School in Kentucky. During a class called Americas Modern Wars, Weimer said that Fields wrote a deeply researched paper about the Nazi military during World War II.

Uh-oh. Amazon just delivered a copy of Reinhard Gehlen’s memoir to me last Thursday.
If you write a school paper about Trump they will say you’re a Nazi sympathizer.
He plowed into the crowd, then rear-ended two stopped cars that may have been hidden by the crowd, then reversed, hitting more people.
Well, that proves it: Trump’s fault.
Something feels off about this story. That's why it's maddening so many public officials feel the need to speak out before the matter has been thoroughly investigated.
More often than not, the initial reports that arise after these "incidents" prove to be inaccurate. Yet, the left goes all out to advance their preferred narrative and the Republican establishment nearly always concurs.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
Tell us the political stance of this history teacher. How much you want to bet he’s a raving Leftist.
What was on the video? I do not do videos, no bandwidth. Was also offline these past few days so am catching up on this story.
I did read he ran into two cars and they took him away. I find that strange.
Where did you see the KKK suits? Yesterday at the protest?
Yes I did notice that...right away too.
Here are couple of their posters.
Wash,
Rinse,
REPEAT!
IT IS MADDENINGLY PREDICTABLE.

Nazi sympathizers are leftists, not Trump supporters.
According to a high school teacher? Hmmm
Why not ask his friends, relatives, co-workers....Where did Field work, does anyone know?

Thinking the same thing. Studying German war tactics is an integral part of studying the whole of the war.
Blitzkrieg? Wow, surprised nearly everyone. Never mind, forget it, can’t discuss German tactics.
If these guys wanted to preserve Civil War statues so badly, what the hell was a tiki torch parade, Richard Spencer, and a bunch of hicks wearing Klan garb going to accomplish?
Here’s an idea. Hold a discussion forum with scholars on both sides to discuss Lee’s life and the pros and cons of his image and let people make statements for or against by taking turns at a microphone.
But what do I know...
....
Where did you see the KKK suits? Yesterday at the protest...
Absolutely. On the Fox News live coverage. Several Klan members in the group also had bright colored “shawls” and A big red Cross on their hood. Their faces were visible. The one I remember in particular was a big, burly guy with a bushy black beard yelling his head off at the crowd with his buddies. They were really trying to incite the leftist mob, which didn’t take much. I am no fan of the KKK.
It almost appeared he was a wannbe and not an actual member.
$10 says he was on meds.
