I hope it offsets the tragedy that the nation's largest pork producer, Smithfield, sold itself to Chinese owners in 2013. Shrewdly, they waited until this year to start jacking up bacon and pork prices, imho.
It burns me that several companies have backed out of bring their products back here. Keeping my fingers crossed that the ones who were truthful will gain and thrive.
