New senator would be the deciding vote on Obamacare. Governor is a republican now. Masterstroke.

As it should be. They have dogs in their respective fights. Excellent moves.

Skin in the game. No theoretical bullcrap. Their people are affected by their decisions.

And the newly Republican Governor of West Virginia could appoint a Republican Senator to replace Manchin. Despite Manchin’s supposed “moderation,” he almost always votes as Chuck Schumer orders, as do every one of the Dems.

Don’t count on it. Word is one of 4 or 5 other GOP Senators would have provided the decisive vote.

Makes simple sense. Mancin is 70. If he wins he spends 6 of the remaining years of his life as a minority-outside looking in. He owes the rats nothing.

Perry is a Cheap Labor Express stooge, Homeland Security is the last place for that dolt, he doesn’t deserve to be Energy Secretary.

Interesting. He's highly likely to be friendly to coal...if not all forms of energy. And the Senate very probably will get a new member who understands that DJT carried his/her home state by about 30 points.
To: ameribbean expat
For Manchin to be worth appointing as a Cabinet Secretary, he should have voted on the Healthcare Bill.

If anyone can do it Trump can. One by one add votes. Might take a year and half but take out enough Rino senators.

Another swamp controlled R would vote no.

He is a demonrat. That means that he is a moral leper who should never be given any authority over anything.
Does Trump still not get that Satan animates the demonrat party?
