That's OK, in the US they have blues festivals without any blacks.
Not sure what this show is about. I guess it’s something like dudes wearing Napoleonic era uniforms over the weekend. Some people have too much time on their hands.
It’d be all very quaint, except if these were villages where they turned in Jews back then.

That’s actually a pretty fair bet. Thousands of Jewish people in the area were misled by false claims of messiahood, first by Sabbatai Zevi and later another fake, Jacob Frank (founder of “Frankism” which persists to this day, to some degree).
Many of these disillusioned Jewish people converted to Christianity as a result of involvement in these cults.
So, yes, I’d bet a lot of these people would be surprised if they took Ancestry.com genealogy tests.
