Aluminum bubble wrap is used for insulation.. We hang it on the inside of the sliding glass doors in summer.

It is a reflector, not an insulator.

Aluminum bubble wrap is used for insulation..It's not the aluminum that's doing the insulating. The insulation comes from the air trapped in the bubbles. The aluminum reflects the heat.
