We have the best missile technology in the world. We have perfected solid fuel boosters capable of ICBM delivery. NK is far and away from that technology.
Silos really only provide protection from the weather. NK’s problem is that for many, many years they can only launch liquid fuel ICBM’s. Truck launched with extended fueling times and easy to damage.
Sure, we have subs on station now, on both side of NK that would crater every base and airfield they have. Not to mention all of the artillery on the border.
Sure, it would not be much of a fight.
I hope we have learned that winning the peace would be much more difficult.
You appear to be well out of your depth on missile technology. We haven’t had a liquid fueled launch platform standing alert in over 30 years. Solid booster design is not that difficult. Silos are for blast-damage protection and ground support equipment, not weather. Where the Norks fail is throw-weight.

NK has tested several solid fuel SLBMs since 2016.
