On the other hand, the way the US is wired, with the pussy mass media and appeasers of all types in and out of US government, the US will freak out at the midnight hour and somehow grant a concession to Kim. Somebody will fly to Pyongyang back channel, either Vatican envoy, or UN official, or some star or starlet, or a former US president, and miraculously a big "deal" will be struck. You just cannot intrinsically change the USA and the way it has always dealt with Pyongyang and been jacked under both Dem and GOP administrations. The US mass media which will hype it and scare everyone to death, will have a major part to play in the last minute cave and a return to the appeasement cycle. Just as Pyongyang rightfully perceives.

The US’ only goal should be to wipe out their airfields , destroy as much of their artillery as possible so they no longer have the means to fight both South Korea and Japan . Also we must diplomatically insure that China won’t get involved and kill a million North Koreans near their border . No other involvement . No occupation by the US .
I’m tired of being afraid of death by nuclear war. Ever since the Cuban Missle Crisis got us worked into fantasies of the end of the world, then five years later the Jews showed the world how to swiftly end war, and Vietnam and Korea demonstrated how not to end war, I’ve long ago decided to ignore the gloom and doom scenarios. And trust to luck that this time we have a Churchill in Trump, not a Chamberlain or much worse, a Kissinger who studied at the knee of Metternich.
