"Judge not, that ye be not judged."
“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.”
—1 Corinthians 2:15
What about mocking God (opportunism)? What about evaluating the fruits of the spirit to see if this is someone you would want to worship with or pray in agreement with?
Before we get in too deep, I’ll remind my Christian brethren and sisters of Matthew 7:1
“Judge not, that ye be not judged.”
Of course, but context means something. Holding words and deeds up to the Light of Scripture — so we’re not fooled — is using judgment and is not the same as being judgmental.
We’re told we’re sheep in the midst of wolves, be wise, but harmless....we will know them by their works, etc.
"Judge not, that ye be not judged."
And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
Hey ripvanwinkle, you must have been asleep since 1992.......there is enough evidence to hang (literally) this Jezabel of a woman ten times over......you're no christian if you can't see that.
