Of course you know it was not I that altered any image of which you might be speaking. 4Zoltan and others following along here are entirely adequately skilled with imagery to know that the images I've shown are unaltered originals (except possibly for cropping), just as supplied by the NTSB.

But gee, Fred, what kind of tremendously important reason do you supposed the NTSB would need to allow evidence in its care to be altered to:

"CREATE[ an]" "image with the green tint" "specifically to disguise the interior of that item to enable it to be identified as a floatation [sic] device?"

That's a pretty big charge you're making with that comment, don't you think?

(It's OK, I've made a very similar charge myself--with lots more corroborating evidence, by the way.)

But, since we've already seen that very agency alter (or allow to be altered) evidence in their exclusive care in a number of ways to cause things to be misidentified, how big of a step would it be for them to alter (or allow to be altered) just one more?

I'm sure you know the answer. (You just haven't admitted it yet.) Hint: It's the same answer which would allow the US Navy to let an intelligence agency have control of $2B+ of its military assets and manpower for a purely political purpose--to propagandize the electorate toward the election outcomes the Deep State desires. That's known as a coup. It's the very same animus and impetus we've seen them use to employ the NSA's Hammer, built by Dennis Montgomery, and to spy on the Trump entourage as soon as they considered DJT any kind of a potential threat.

Fred Nerds: what appears to be part of the metal luggage pod

Be advised, the baggage pod was not made of metal, but of composite fiberglass. As such, as I showed with pictures in posts #157 and #173, its insides were brown-tan while its outside was painted white. Thus, your claim about it being a "green tint" is for naught. As all can see in #248, if that's a portion of the baggage pod leaning up against the far side of the fuselage, it's clearly brown-tan in color.

Should one of our Navy SEALs ever need to testify, verifying that the SlipNSlide(R) in the top image of #249 is a modern SEAL transport, made unbalanced, likely by a private contractor, I'll be sure to bring up your differing opinion, which you claimed as your right. It might be worth a few chuckles then, as it already has been, noting it had to have been a contractor that would have gotten them all killed, had there been any real enemies around.

And that's the same object you can see being washed up against the fuselage in the Puentes images. With one difference. The Puentes images have a nice blue sky and blue water, and the examples you used have a green tint, which changes the colour of the item which you call a slip and slide.

Frankly, I don't know why you bother. It's obviously not working. Maybe if you produce the newly minted shape shifted cosmetically enhanced Fuddy, you'll convince me. Up until then, spending two billion dollars to get rid of one woman just doesn't do it for me. If there was hanky-panky involved, they were ALL meant to die.

Causes less suspicion, and is a whole lot cheaper.
