Sounds like refusal to carry out a legal order. Yes/No?
Since the WH has been slow on guidance...there is no legal issued yet. I might expect this to start wrapping up after the President returns from the vacation. In this case, the admiral will be brought in and given the written guidance...he’ll explain his issues, and they will pull out a retirement order that they already had typed up and ready for the occasion.
It’s not a policy, it’s an order. The president is the Commander and Chief. You follow the order or you’re outa’ there, general court marshal, dishonerable discharge.
I think that under the UCMJ it would be classified as a "direct order".An order from a non-commissioned officer is called a "lawful order".
Not a legal order. . .yet. Policy hasn’t be promulgated officially, it’s just tweets so far. . .
Yup. Kelly will offer him the chance to retire. If he refuses, he will relieve him of command for lack of confidence in command. VADM of the USCG will take over without needing Congressional approval. Lord knows the USCG can get by with one less admiral.
A tweet is not a legal order. Once a legal order has been issued down the chain of command this perfumed prince is relieved and should be court martialed. Trump needs to make an example out of someone, the swamp creatures believe they are immune from the law. This must be done asap.
