Unlike many members of the House, US Senators couldn’t give a $hit what their constituents think and don’t routinely have town hall meetings, for which you can thank the 17th Amendment to the Constitution, before which they actually had constituents - their respective state legislators.

I don’t like the 17th amendment either, but it isn’t the root of our problems. The root of our problems is Christians and conservatives who are not willing to join the culture war and separate themselves and their children from the Bernie factories aka socialist government schools. Whatever we do on the Constitution front at this stage is simply a matter of re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. If we want to stop the Republic from sinking, we need to strike at the roots of the rot, which are: news media, government schools, Hollywood and corporate America (infested with anti-Christians and globalists). Getting out of the public school system not only saves our children, it stands as an example or a Witness to others.

For which were usually bribed and bought (or vice-versa). There’s a reason why the 17th was enacted. Everyone and their mother knew the Senate had been corrupted a long time ago and equally corrupt state legislators “choosing” the Senators was a joke.
