Some lawmakers on Capitol Hill are outraged over the publication of transcripts of President Trump's calls with foreign leaders and are calling for the swift termination of whomever might be behind their release.
"Can you imagine being President of the United States, having a conversation with a foreign leader. And that conversation being divulged to the media? It's just not fair to President Trump. The person who did this may think they have a noble outcome in mind, but that is just chaosm," Graham told CBS News on Thursday.
Graham added that he hopes the administration finds out who the person was that gave the details of the calls to The Post and find out and "gets punished."

Transcripts of two completely different countries’ conversations being released at the exact same time means the leak is US. To assume something else is silly.

McCain certainly is among those who were aware of the contents of confidential telephone conversations between Trump and foreign leaders even before any transcripts were made public, he revealed as much when he was pranked by those Russian comedians pretending to be the Ukrainian Prime Minister, or whatever the prank was, something like that.

The NSA, the Deep State, everyone in the Govt is out to get Trump..and we already know that the NSA spies on pretty much everyone..how they were able to get a detailed word for word transcript of a conversation with TWO world leaders, yeah there is of course a bug..where was this during the Obama Administration, why no detailed transcript leaked of his conversations with world leaders. I would have LOVED to read the ones between him and Netanyahu
On Monday morning the Washington post should be served with a search warrant for all references to the phoecalls. the place should be shut down tight for the week it takes to search every desk, file and computer. Compters locked down should be hauled away.

I think the NSA/FBI/CIA has had the WH bugged for decades.
Since Obama (and previous POTUS's) posed no threat to the Deep State, they didn't leak.
Trump does threaten the Deep State, so they are sabotaging him at every turn.
If a mighty nation falls, it fails from rot within its own pillars..
Distracted, it fails to see the dangers created by its own direction or lack thereof.
This is not just an anti-Trump movement afoot,
It is an anti-American one as well.
I think every phone conversation, either land line or wireless is being stored digitally. The same software that enables you to talk to your computer while it puts your words into a Word document, is being used to record our conversations. These conversations do not take much room in a data bank, because it is digital. To access your conservation is like what you do to do a Google search. I am sure the NSA has better search organs and can get exactly what they want very quickly.
What is necessary is to get the search history and find out who got those phone conversations.
Shut down the Post and the NY Times for being threats to national security.
Why should those who publish such information be exempt from consequences?
They are accomplices.
Just because they were released at the same time doesn't necessarily mean the WaPo received them at the same time.
Let's say for example that the Mexican government furnished a copy to the Mexican Ambassador in Washington. Then a secretary or code-clerk at the Mexican Embassy could have mailed a copy to the WaP.
Something similar could have happened with the Australian government's transcript of the Prime Minister's talk with DJT, meaning among other things that the copies could have "come over the transom" at the WaPo at very different times.
But at this point, as HRC might say, What difference does it make? Either Pres. Trump said the things in the transcripts or he didn't. And if he did say them, then some of his supporters may not be entirely pleased.

Never was. Trump is just the figurehead. This is the government in open defiance of the electorate. The government is, itself, anti-American and pro-panglobalism.
The thoughts of who made the tape(intercept) are really moot. All that is needed is to get the person who published the transcripts to talk. this is Classified. There is no Press Priviledge or media shield Law. The publisher will squeel and all will be released.
Just like everything else, therein lies the problem. Team Trump doesn’t want to know. Just like he won’t ask Sessions to do his job.
