Amazing the MSM could never uncover Obama’s grades.
The nature of the last few leaks suggests either Priebus or spicer. Just a gut feeling.
The old media lies are sourced constantly on Freerepublic. Why?
“Kellys job just got tougher. When the President gets back from vacation, the leakers need to be history.”
Just a thought (I haven’t read all the posts so please forgive me if this hypothesis has already been broached) but consider that Gen. Kelly related these transcripts to a chosen few...with the understanding that they would be leaked and the traitorous leaker could be identified.
These are not leaks. I believe that there are listening devices installed in the White House by zero and his crew. I saw an article today where the NSA has the ability to access the TV cameras and microphones. Although I am sure that the great minds inside the MAGA White House have already considered this, if they haven’t, it would surely answer the question of how this information is being leaked.
Wow. FR has really become the place to come to for fake news.
All MSM has to do is invent some BS that makes Trump look bad, claim it was leaked by anonymous sources close the the White House, and print it.
Voila! Fake news is born! And even conservative forums like FR which should know better, pick it up from the most dishonest publications and re-post it.
Half the FReepers swallow it, hook, line and sinker, and get all upset about whatever made up problems the Trump team is supposedly having. Then these same FReepers get all upset about the made up anonymous sources that supposedly leaked these made up problems to the press.
FReepers ask - why is Trump letting these “problems” persist? - who are these “leakers” - why hasn’t Trump fired them for airing dirty laundry? - who are the traitors? Bannon? Ivanka? Jared? Priebus? Sessions? Kelly?
I think FR is serving as a tool for the fake news and delivering it right to the Trump supporters where it will do the most damage - raising doubts and undermining confidence in Trump’s presidency.
Every day the MSM releases a new batch of fake stories with a fake leakers, and someone on FR can’t wait to re-post here where it gets us pointing the suspicious finger at someone in Trump’s team.
The fake news must really appreciate all the fine work we do here on FR disseminating their garbage for them and carrying out their disinformation campaign for them.
True, there are FReepers who know its fake and say so, but it seems like nobody listens. Most FReepers carry on as if it’s real news and have a big discussion about who in the Trump administration are the troublemakers, who are the traitors, the leakers, the bad influences.
We do exactly what they want us to do! We must make the MSM so happy.
Shhhh. You're not supposed to focus on what he said, but rather on the fact that what he said was leaked.
Has Trump said this isn’t true?
At least in the case of Watergate an actual crime had been committed.
“Has Trump said this isnt true?”
Point well taken, but even when a fake news story is based on truth, that doesn’t change my point.
The point of a disinformation campaign is to do damage to the enemy, in this case, Trump.
Do you deny that this is the MSM’s intent, to damage Trump?
Do you deny that this is the effect, to damage Trump?
The truth can be twisted and put into the wrong context, so that even though it is technically true, it is fake news. In fact, fake news is more effective propaganda when it is based on something true - it is easier to sell that way.
Example: Trump said he respected Putin’s strength as a leader - he said he could get along with Russia. There is not a single thing wrong with those statements. Many leaders throughout history have expressed respect for their enemies. We know that it is foolish to underestimate one’s enemies, and what is opposite of underestimation? Respect. Many leaders have counciled keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. That’s all Trump was saying.
Yet, the left proceeded to engage in a disinformation campaign to twist Trump’s expressions of respect for, and getting along with Putin into some sort of collusion with Russia, or failure to recognize them as an enemy.
That was all fake news, even though nobody disputes the fact that Trump said those things.
Same with these communications - they are made into news stories for the express purpose of putting Trump in a bad light.
As for the so-called leaking problem, ask yourself what happened when “sources close to the Obama administration” had loose lips (which happened just as often). Nothing, that’s what. The MSM had no interest in blowing it up into a smear campaign against Obama, so it went nowhere.
Since there was no story, there were no anonymous sources, no leakers, no leak problem.
So, my point with the fake leakers is the same as my point with the fake news: there may have been people who passed this information on, but it only becomes a “leak problem” in the Trump administration because of the nonstop MSM disinformation campaign. The same event or statement would have gone nowhere in the Obama administration.
It’s the MSM constantly twisting routine nothingburgers into fake news drama by attaching some sinister significance to it that isn’t really there.
No. The calls were transcribed and I believe the folks on the other end did the same. The transcription goes into WH records. From there someone with clearance copies them and sends them to WaPo. One thing to remember, with Bezos owning WaPo they have unlimited resources to reward leakers.

At this point I think it’s Trump himself.
He’s running the media around in circles while he’s getting real work done that goes under the radar.
I think Bush, Obama, & Trump’s fandom of Putin is very misplaced. I look forward to the day we have a president who will dictate to the Russian leader, not toady up to him like those three.
“Bush, Obama, & Trumps fandom of Putin is very misplaced.”
Don’t worry; the three have nothing in common.
did obama ‘bug’ the oval office before he left for tihiti?
