I think Trump is learning - and he’s a leaner - that government doesn’t necessarily inherently work like business and what works in business doesn’t always work in government although a good POTUS will operate the Executive Branch like a business as much as he can. But the limitations on his power and the kind of people he needs is often different than what he’s used to with his company.
Trump’s style seems to be to give people a shot, and be quick to remove people who are not working out.
