Just saw a documentary recently that said,among other things,that there's irrefutable evidence that about 10,000 years ago (a moment in time when talking earth's history) Central Park in Manhattan was covered by a glacier that was about 1,000 feet tall.

Even a 10 foot tall glacier would not be a happy thought. If we didn’t have global warming, we would have those glaciers.
Here in Indiana we had them also. Three different waves of them receding and expanding. The earth is not static.

The irrefutable glacier over NYC also created the irrefutable Hudson River valley.
The ice has been melting since then.
