I’ll be dwelling on this thought today as I have some roof work to do, which is a great place to commune with God and yourself...
while remaining carefully aware that I am on a roof and one mistep and I become a non-winged flyer destined to hurt myself, or worse.
I've ridden the paper down once on a single story ranch house when I was about 35 and I landed on my feet ... but I never forgot that 10 seconds.
