On behalf of the fine people of the great state of Indiana, I certainly hope not. The west curb of State Line Avenue is in the City of Chicago, Illinois; the east curb is in the City of Hammond, Indiana. Not only does Hammond not have this silly beverage tax, the sales tax is 2.5 Cents lower.
