The Rats still don't see a problem ...
But, but only Russia can hack our machines.
Vote early, vote often.
I was just at Blackhat which runs just before DefCon.
I met one really smart guy who was a hard core Lefty who was convinced Russia hacked our elections.
I wanted to ask him how they got access to Podesta’s email account but didn’t want to listen to Comedy Channel nonsense.
Smart doesn’t always equate to being objective.
I would propose have boxes of small ‘sealed’ envelopes, each containing a randomly generated number that falls within a specific range for that specific voting site. Each one of these numbers will have been stored online, available publicly after the election. Each voter takes one of these sealed envelopes (randomly, from reaching in a box) after they’ve gone through voter ID process) and then enters the number in the voting machine. Their actual vote and that number are thus intrinsically tied - but there is no identifier to the voter. Later, post-election, each voter can check anonymously whether their number correlated with the vote they casted. If this differs, they can identify the fraud. They would also be required to write the number on a paper ballot, so any time fraud is alleged it can be checked back against the paper ballot record.
And all this time I didn’t think they were connected to the web.
The thing is what the Hillary propaganda media never mentions is Trump didn’t have to hack the election. Democrats handed him that victory long before the election even happened the second they nominated the psychotic career criminal Hillary R. Clinton. I was praying they would be stupid enough to do it and they did, and that’s when I knew Trump would be the next POTUS.
Electronic (paperless) voting had its first major usage in Venezuela to put its current regime in.
Now they want online voting?
The above is exactly why it took "minutes" to hack the machines.
Then again, even without the above info. it probably woudl've only take a few more minutes at best. Anything running WindowsXP at this point is going to be vulnerable as hell.
And who really trust low level government officials (bureaucrats) to know how to secure voting machines anyway, whether remotely, virtual or physical?
C'mon already.....
As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
If the states hadnt let themselves be spooked by the Progressive Movement into straying from the 12th Amendment procedure for electing a POTUS, then there wouldnt be over 100 million constitutionally meaningless popular votes to count.
The president of the Senate would still able to hand-count the then total 538 electoral votes which determine the president and vice president.
